Welcome to the Clay Compendium potteries and ceramic studios list! The ateliers in this collection are the places where pottery is and was made, from small studios with a few employees to large collectives or factories with many employees – anywhere that the primary output could be called ceramic art or pottery.
Each place is listed by name, and links to people who are known to have worked there can be found on the pages. Wherever possible, links to sales websites, social media, and other informational sites such as The Marks Project, Wikipedia, news articles, and other publications are also included.
Have more to add? Tell us about a new place, or look for the suggestions and corrections form at the bottom of each Clay Compendium page to help us update existing entries.
